Today I realized...
When I was younger, I couldn't wait for the opportunity to be older-lie about my age (only because all of my family and friends were older), fake id's, hanging out, stealing my mom's car (really? what was I thinking?)
As a responsible adult(for the most part), I can't wait for the next time I'm going to hang out with my friends, have one too many drinks, laugh and talk for hours, be myself. These are all of the luxuries I took for granted when I was younger.
It's amazing how God sends people into your life to help guide you.
Family and friends(friends that are like family) are the best gift God could provide. They provide opportunities to learn a lot about yourself and others.
Change is good but also very scary.
I'm just sayin'!

As I get older, my goal is to be better. A better mother,a better wife and a better friend. My first challenge in achieving this goal is filtering what goes in me and also what comes out of me. Thus the need for the blog. I need a place to release all of the random thoughts that flow through my mind. These are my thoughts man right or wrong, just what I was feeling at the time uh (in my Jay-Z voice) I'm just sayin'!
